This page is dedicated to honoring Chloe's life passions of competitive cheerleading and helping others.

HERO - "a person admired for bravery, great achievements, or good qualities"

ANGEL - "a person(such as a child) that is very good, kind, beautiful, etc."

Heroes and angels come in all shapes and sizes.  Our hero was 4'8" and about 80 pounds soaking wet.  Chloe was and is our hero and our angel.  She gave the ultimate sacrifice on June 25, 2016 to save her dear friend without regard for her own life or safety.  But that is just a glimpse of this extraordinary young girl.

Chloe was eager and a fighter.  She wanted to be first and in charge of everything.  This was evident from the very beginning.  She was born eight weeks early and 6 minutes sooner than her twin brother.  Poor Jake came out with two black eyes. Go figure.

As Chloe grew so did her passions: Cheerleading, Art, Choir, spending time with friends & family, and the summers at the lake.  The summers at the lake were her absolute favorite place to be.

Chloe was always asking to attend additional tumbling classes or private lessons for cheer because she was striving to be her best.  She worked so hard to improve her skills.  There was hardly ever a moment when she wasn't doing cartwheels, one-man's or kicking her leg in the air.

If you knew Chloe and were friends then you were apart of our family.  She touched more people than we could have ever imagined with her energetic, spunky spirit.  She loved to help others believe in the themselves, give a hug when they needed it, and a smile to brighten their day.  She wrote a lot about changing the world and making it a better place.  Her motto was "love life!" She truly enjoyed everyday and wanted to make the most of it.

This was a quote she wrote on a friends binder in spring of 2016...

One smile can start a friendship,

one word can start a fight,

one look can start a relationship

and one person can change your life.

To honor our daughter

we are raising funds for two things:

1st - a cheer scholarship in her name.  This will go to continue her legacy and passion as a cheerleader.

2nd - Jubilee Centers International - Chloe asked for her big Christmas present from 2015 to sponsor a child, which she chose from Honduras.

She wanted to give something up

to help someone else in need.

A true Hero and Angel.

CHloe's caring heart

Chloe chose her 2015 big Christmas gift to provide a sponsorship to a child who is apart of an organization called Orphan Outreach.  She chose a child from Honduras.  Chloe's Dad, Mom and Brother were able to take a mission trip to Honduras and visit the child, Heather, that Chloe sponsored at the School of Jubilee in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in early June of 2017.  They spent a heart felt week teaching all the children at the School of Jubilee the story of David and Goliath, learning about the environment they live in and playing soccer, "can-jam", jumping rope and playing tag.

HONDURAS 2023:

From the 2023 Chloe Golf Tournament support provided through donations and sponsors we were able to provide Jubilee International Center with $10,597. These funds contribute to the operating costs and the education of students in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I know Chloe would be elated to help these kids get an education.

HONDURAS 2022:

We have not been back to the school of Jubilee but Josh and I continue to sponsor Heather each year and through the Golf Tournament we were able to donate $9,991 and support many kids at the school of Jubilee. It is so amazing that Chloe’s Caring Heart is making a difference in so many lives. A huge thank you to all that support this every year.

HONDURAS 2020:

Due to Covid we were not able to make a trip to Honduras this last year. We have still supported our kids at Jubilee Centers International.

HONDURAS 2019 UPDATE:

Jubilee Centers International did not disappoint like usual. It is great to see the smiling faces of the kids and this year they were looking a little older. We went June 16-20th and the weather was beautiful. Our craft activities included making paper machete flowers and flour stress balloons. The flour stress balloons got a little messy but the kids had the most fun throwing it on each other. We helped out with English class this year which was fun. Tag, chalk drawings, kickball, prayers, more tag, face paintings and a great soccer tournament rounded out the week. Futbol or soccer as Americans know it is a very popular sport in Honduras. On Friday they had a big soccer tournament for most of the grades and they named it after our son Jake which was so kind.

David and Emily Romero, the creators of Jubilee, continue to do amazing work. They have plans to continue development on their middle school program and get the high school program operating. Each year we go and continue to see what a blessing these people to the children and the community in which the school resides in. If you are interested learning more about Jubilee and the children there you can go to http://www.jubileehn.org/

HONDURAS 2018 UPDATE:

Our trip to Honduras this year was July 14-21 and it was a great trip.  It was filled with lots of smile, hugs and lots of playing.  We read books with the first and fourth grade classes.  The third grade class painted their favorite biblical verse on a box car and we had races.  Second, fifth and sixth made necklaces and played games.  It was a beautiful week full of sweet faces, chalk art & tag.  This year we took our trip through Jubilee Centers International.

We learned that after this year Orphan Outreach will no longer be supporting Jubilee Centers International. We believe in what Jubilee is doing for these kids and their community and we will still be supporting this organization going forward.  They are in the process of getting sponsorship opportunities in place for these beautiful children.  If you are interested in learning more about Jubilee check them out at their webpage.  http://www.jubileehn.org/
